Recommendations for the trek to Choquequirao
Altitude sickness or soroche is a malaise suffered by people in high places. It is advisable to acclimatize in Cusco at least 1 day before trekking to Choquequirao.
The ascent from Cachora to Choquequirao requires significant physical effort.
It is recommended to prepare yourself physically at least 1 week before the trek.
