3 Days

MACHU PICCHU

Three Days, One Journey, A Deep Connection with the Andes.

This 3-day itinerary takes you through the heart of the Inca legacy—from Cusco’s sacred temples to Moray’s agricultural rings, the salt terraces of Maras, the Sacred Valley, and finally Machu Picchu, all at a relaxed pace.
Crafted as a private experience, it offers expert and human-centered guidance, smooth transfers, curated meals, Wayki-standard lodging, and constant assistance.

Perfect for travelers seeking cultural depth, nature connection, and seamless organization—because the journey matters just as much as the destination.

AVAILABILITY & HOW TO BOOK

Three well-spent days to live through centuries of history.

This is a complete, flexible, and smooth-flowing itinerary available year-round. Designed for travelers who value cultural immersion and comfort—with all official entry permits and logistics arranged for you.

Machu Picchu Access – Protected Heritage & High Demand

For this 3-day tour, visits to Cusco and the Sacred Valley sites are not restricted, allowing for a more flexible and personalized experience.

However, Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a sanctuary of immeasurable value, is strictly regulated by the Ministry of Culture of Peru, with limited daily access:

  • 4,500 visitors per day in low season (November – March)
  • 5,600 visitors per day in high season (April – October)

This limit includes all travelers arriving by train, the Inca Trail (in all versions), and alternative routes such as Salkantay, Lares, Inca Jungle, and others.

Due to global popularity and limited availability, high demand is constant, especially for the more complete routes.

We highly recommend booking 6 to 10 months in advance, especially if you’re traveling between May and October (high season). This not only guarantees your entry but improves access to the most comprehensive routes.

Last-minute bookings are subject to availability and may have fewer options.

Official Routes & Circuits in Machu Picchu

Your tour through the citadel follows one of four official circuits, assigned based on availability at the time of booking.

Each circuit has specific paths and levels of complexity. The most complete (like Circuit 2) is in highest demand—another reason why early booking is key for a richer experience.

The Four Official Circuits:

  • Circuit 1: High route with scenic viewpoints (Guardian’s House) and agricultural zone
  • Circuit 2: Classic route, through main temples and sacred plazas (high demand)
  • Circuit 3: Lower route through urban, industrial, and royal temple areas
  • Circuit 4: Lower route with access to Intihuatana or Temple of the Sun (depending on availability)

Wayki Trek will assign the best available circuit at the time of your booking, prioritizing a smooth and enriching experience.
