Wayki Trek was founded in 1998 by a group of Andean guides who decided to take control of their future. Coming from rural communities in Cusco, we chose not just to walk the mountains but to change the story of adventure tourism. For 27 years, we've proven that an Indigenous business model, led by its people and guided by ancestral values is not only possible but powerful.We go beyond trekking, we create transformative experiences, for both the travelers who join us and those who make them possible. We've accompanied hundreds of porters in their personal growth; many are now cooks, guides, entrepreneurs, and leaders in their own communities.We work with small groups and a deeply human approach. On every trail, we weave respect, authenticity, and commitment to life. We care for every detail with passion, prioritizing safety, well-being, and real positive impact in the Andean communities where we were born.
