Due to its immense archaeological, cultural, and environmental value, access is limited to just 250 people per day, including visitors, guides, and porters.

Important: According to Peru’s Ministry of Culture, every traveler must obtain two mandatory permits:

• Official permit for the Inca Trail 2 Days
  
• Entry ticket to Machu Picchu (limited to 4,600 people per day)
  

Because of this dual requirement, spots sell out fast—thousands of travelers request access to Machu Picchu daily. That’s why we recommend booking at least 6 to 10 months in advance, especially if you plan to travel during the high season (May to October).

1. Required Personal Info

For each participant, we need:

• Full name (send a clear photo of your passport).
  
• Passport number and expiration date.
  
• Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy).
  
• Gender and nationality.
  
• Occupation (if a student, send a valid student ID at the time of booking).

2. Deposit to Confirm Your Booking

• To confirm your permits for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, a 50% deposit or full payment is required.
• The remaining balance can be paid up to 15 days before the hike or in cash at our office in Cusco after your pre-trek briefing.

Deposit Terms

To secure your spot on the Inca Trail and at Machu Picchu, keep in mind:

• The deposit is mandatory
• 50% upfront or full payment (transfer fees not included)
• For PayPal and Western Union, email us your transaction receipt (MTCN), without it, we cannot confirm your booking
• In case of cancellation, Inca Trail and Machu Picchu permits are non-refundable.
  Once issued, they are personal, non-transferable, and cannot be changed, per Peruvian government regulations.
• You may pay 100% upfront to avoid carrying cash when you arrive in Cusco.

We’ll pick you up early from your hotel and take the train to Km 104, where your hike begins. The route starts at the Chachabamba archaeological site, your first immersive step into Inca history.

After an uphill walk surrounded by lush vegetation and views of the Urubamba River, you’ll reach Wiñay Wayna, one of the most stunning Inca sites along the trail. Here, you’ll enjoy a scenic picnic surrounded by ruins and incredible landscapes, with time to explore, reflect, or simply joke around with your friends.

The highlight of the day is reaching Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where you’ll get your first breathtaking glimpse of Machu Picchu. It’s a moment of awe, excitement, and pure accomplishment.
