The Thermal Waters of Aguas Calientes / Machupicchu Pueblo, are one of the town’s most popular attractions. They are a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. These hot springs are located in a scenic area surrounded by lush jungle and mountainous landscapes and just 10 km away from Machu Picchu.

The thermal baths are a short walk from the center of Aguas Calientes, easily accessible through a path that winds through the town and into the more forested area.

Best Time to Visit

 

The thermal waters can be enjoyed year-round, but visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is recommended. The natural ambiance is especially beautiful when surrounded by morning mist.

Visting during Dry Season is ideal as there is little to no rain, letting you enjoy the waters. Go during the morning if you want more privacy as it is less crowded.
