Cusco Cathedral
Begin your tour at this majestic colonial landmark, built atop the former palace of Inca Viracocha. Admire its baroque altars, intricate wood carvings, Cusco School paintings, and hidden Andean symbols woven into Catholic iconography.
Qorikancha – Temple of the Sun

Sacsayhuamán
This colossal fortress features perfectly interlocking stonework and offers one of the best panoramic views of Cusco. Its construction remains an architectural enigma.
Q’enqo
A ceremonial site carved into rock, used for rituals and possibly mummifications. The sacred energy of the Andes is palpable here.
Puka Pukara
This “Red Fortress” served as a military checkpoint for those entering Cusco. Its name comes from the reddish hue the stones take on at sunset.
Tambomachay
Known as the “Inca Baths,” this ceremonial site features functional water channels that demonstrate the Incas’ advanced hydraulic engineering.
