The Salkantay + Inca Trail 6-Day trek is a unique journey designed for couples seeking a deeper connection with nature, with ancient history, and with each other. Due to the Inca Trail’s protected status and high cultural value, access is limited to 500 people per day, including guides, porters, and cooks.
This capacity is shared across the 4-, 5-, and 6-day routes, making early reservations essential, especially in high season.
As of May 23, 2025, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture requires two separate permits:
- Salkantay and Inca Trail Permit
- Entrance Ticket to Machu Picchu (daily limit: 4,600 people)
