AVAILABILITY & HOW TO BOOK

Your next unforgettable family adventure starts now

The Salkantay + Inca Trail 6-Day trek is a once-in-a-lifetime journey crafted for explorer families seeking to connect—through nature, culture, and meaningful shared experiences. Due to the Inca Trail’s protected status and invaluable heritage, entry is limited to 500 people per day, including guides, porters, and cooks.

This limit is shared among the 4-, 5-, and 6-day routes, so spots sell out quickly—especially during school holidays and high season.

As of May 23, 2025, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture requires two permits for this trek:

  • Permit for Salkantay + Inca Trail
  • Entrance Ticket to Machu Picchu (limited to 4,600 people/day)

With families from around the world planning their trek in advance, we recommend booking 6 to 10 months ahead to secure your preferred dates and ensure a smooth experience.

Why Book Early as a Family?

  • Secure spots for every family member—especially for holiday seasons or long weekends.
  • Customize pace and logistics based on your children’s age and family interests.
  • Get the best campsites, Machu Picchu entry times, and train options.
  • Eliminate last-minute stress with a well-planned and joyful experience.

Check live availability via our website or contact our team directly.

Book today and turn this adventure into a story your family will treasure forever.
