As we know in last announcement on February 24th the government of Peru extended some restrictions for international travelers, that said : whose final destination is Peru must carry out a 14-day quarantine at their declared address or lodgings and a negative covid test.
Today shortly before 11:00 am. the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Claudia Cornejo,. revealed during a visit to Tumbes región north of Peru, that the quarantine request for international travelers entering the country will be eliminated and only their PCR ‘Polymerase chain reaction’ test will be requested, according to a decision made by the Council of Ministers She also said that the request for a PCR ‘Polymerase chain reaction’ test for domestic flights will be suspended. Minister Cornejo said that the MTC Ministry of Transport and Communications will specify it tomorrow, it is understood that by publishing a legal norm. She did not specify when both measures are in force and it is expected that this will be specified in the legal norm.
